| The Unified Abrasives Manufacturers Association(UAMA) is an organization growing out of the merger two years ago of the Grinding Wheel Institute, the Coated Abrasives Manufacturers Institute, Abrasives Grain Association, and the Diamond Wheel Manufacturers Association. UAMA recently met with representatives from the German Abrasives Organization and FEPA beginning dialogs that could bring more uniformity in international standards for grinding wheels.
